*WHAT IS AN ACCOUNTABILITY GROUP?*

(AKA - Challenge or Support Group)

With all of the great promotions going on right now, I have been getting a lot of questions lately about what exactly is an Accountability Group?  An Accountability Group is also called an Challenge Group or even a Support Group...I use all 3 terms a lot.  Let me first start off by saying that Challenge Groups ARE NOT MANDATORY.  They are optional and for those who would like accountability, motivation, support, extra guidance, tips, etc.  Just because you get a program, Shakeology, or Challenge Pack does not mean you have to be a part of one of these groups.

So, here it is...  

An Accountability Group is a small group of like-minded individuals all working TOGETHER to help each other achieve their fitness goals!  I prefer to call it that because often times people are threatened and intimidated by the word 'challenge."  It is a "safe" place for people to feel comfortable about their journey that they are choosing.  Safe = meaning it is private...you are not obligated or even expected to show your before pictures or measurements.  You can keep all of that to yourself or share with your Coach.  It isn't a place either where you are expected to share your weight or anything personal unless you choose to.

The simple fact is that as an Independent Team Beachbody Coach I find a routine/program that works best for you because I want to see YOU SUCCEED!  Once that happens I don’t want to just watch you put that fitness program on the shelf to collect dust, but rather I want you to feel good about yourself and to reach YOUR fitness goals!  It is a place to find support and talk with people that are doing the same program or similar program as you.    

This is where Accountability Groups come into play.  Let’s face it we all need a little PUSH now and then… and a little motivation goes a LONG way!  Chances are that without your own personal Team Beachbody Coach and without the support of fellow challengers; you are more likely to put that fitness program on the shelf (to collect dust) and never reach your fitness potential.  Accountability Groups help people get the BEST possible results; why, well one word ACCOUNTABILITY!  As your Coach, I don't hold your hand and work miracles for you.  Change doesn't happen unless work is done, by you.  A Challenge Group is a great way to learn the basics of living a healthy lifestyle while having fun at the same time.  No one really wants to be unhealthy or unhappy, no one really wants to live life overweight or tired.  Typically when people are feeling better about themselves, they are more productive in other areas of their life; work or even relationships with increased energy and mood change.  

*What is expected as an Accountability Group Participant?

• Typically Accountability Groups consist of a minimum of five participants per group.
• Your commitment is 60 or 90 days of YOUR preferred Beachbody workout program!  You do everything at home; on your time and on your schedule.  You don’t have to travel anywhere so you can participate in a Challenge Group from anywhere in the world!
• Drinking Shakeology everyday!
• And participate in a PRIVATE Facebook accountability page; for mini challenges, support and motivation! All Challenge Group members are encouraged to post each day!
